My son never ended up in a gang, my daughter didn't end up a mother at 16, yeah it's small and sorta conservative but if you look hard enough it aint bad. I have lived here for almost 20 years and seen a definate change in it's atmosphere, not just the air quality. But it is central to about everything and without all the traffic. I commute to S.J. and all points beyond everday for my job and that smell welcomes me home at the end of the day. You gotta make your own slice of heaven sometimes but just stay under the radar. We have had MANY good times at our house parties and rarely get hassled by the good ole' boys of the GPD. Can't say I'll stay forever, but it sure feels fine for now.
